Les is primarily a Travel Photographer, but also includes Landscapes, Flower and Macro work in the portfolio. The images displayed are the most recent from more than thirty years of travel.

Les a member of a photographic group, OpusV, the group regularly displays several exhibitions in and around Lanarkshire.

Photographic training is available with Les Gibbons Photography, both on formal courses and a one-to-one basis. AV shows and talks can be provided on request. Please contact Les for further details.

Les lives in Strathaven (pronounced Stra'ven) in Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Photos on the site have been taken using Canon cameras and lenses, XPan cameras and lenses, Manfrotto tripods and Lee filters. The images are a mix of Fuji Velvia film and digital captured photos. The film images have been scanned using a Epson Flatbed scanner for the panoramics and a Nikon film scanner for 35mm.

There is a minimal amount of manipulation in the images, the aim has been to get it right in camera.
